Eating a healthy whole foods diet can be immensely pleasurable if you understand both what truly healthy food is and what to do with it. There are so many myths about what healthy eating means that most people are left bewildered about what they should be eating and associate healthy eating and vegetarianism or veganism with bland, unsatisfying food and deprivation. We are going to dispel those myths by cooking nutritious, and delicious, tasty vegan meals using whole-foods and plant-based ingredients.

Our healthy plant-based cooking classes include learning the elements of healthy, balanced meals so that you will learn more than just how to cook a couple of recipes but how to build your own healthy, balanced, delicious vegan meals and incorporate healthy eating into your daily life.

Each private cooking class includes:
• Advanced shopping by your chef
• Instructional preparation of a healthy, delicious whole foods, plant-based meal
• Customized cooking lesson plan and health tips
• Delicious, healthy, whole-foods, plant-based recipes

All cooking classes are hands-on in your own kitchen with your own equipment. Cooking in your own kitchen is the best way to put the skills you learn to use in your daily life.
Plan on spending about 2 hours per cooking class depending upon what kind of food is being prepared.

The following courses are offered, as well as individually tailored classes to suit your personal needs:

Vegan 101. This cooking class starts with the basics of vegan cooking, in which you will learn the fundamentals of creating healthy, delicious, easy-to-prepare plant-based foods. Class involves preparation of one main dish.
Cost: $125 for individuals or groups up to three. $25 each additional person.

Gourmet Vegan (Macrobiotic). In this class, participants who already have some experience cooking without meat or dairy will learn how to create gourmet meals to satisfy the gourmand in every family. Class involves preparation of a 2-3 course meal.
Cost: $200.00 for 1-3 people. $25 each additional person.


Cost: $115 for individuals or groups up to three. $25 each additional person.

Inter-Active Dinner parties can also be arranged. Please inquire at info@tarastechniques.com for costs and details. Group classes are normally up to 6 participants.

Taras’ classes will help you to discover your inner cook by developing your senses of taste for individual ingredients, allowing you to develop your own individual style of cooking. At her classes, Taras will provide answers to all your queries, give you time saving hints about cooking and alternate uses for leftovers.

Two Private Class Types by appointment only:
o Three x 2 hour sessions ($190.00 per person)
o One 3 hour duration ($120.00 per person, or $90.00 p/p when you book a class of 2 people)

• Participants prepare and cook dishes
• All raw materials provided.

• Weekend classes are also available by appointment only.
